I have had several people ask me how I have lost so much weight. My secret is food journal and weighing yourself every morning. I started my “diet” on November 18th of last year and have lost 70 pounds thus far. A lot of people ask what I eat and if I exercise. I don’t believe that what I eat will work for everyone but what I do know is that if you keep a food journal of everything you eat and weigh yourself first thing in the morning, you will have success. I know it sounds excessive to weigh yourself every day but by doing that, you know what foods make you gain weight and what foods make you lose. It’s also important to look at your portion sizes. Have 1/2 of the portions that you are used to and you will see results. You may see a decrease in energy because of not eating as much, if that’s the case, take a caffeine pill. It helps you drop pounds and gives you energy to do it. Only take them as directed, after 6 weeks you stop taking them for a month, then you can start again. I took them for the first 6 weeks and never went back on after that. I take a multivitamin, vitamin a, vitamin e, vitamin b pill, just to make sure I get the nutrients. It’s also very important not to deprive yourself. Have one day a week where you can eat more than usual. Don’t go hog wild but have a dessert or some fattening food. It’s ok! One day a week isn’t going to hurt you. It’s easy to get back on track afterward. If you crave cookies, have 1 cookie instead of 3. I am not much of a soda drinker so I don’t know what to say when it comes to that but I would say lay off the soda. It bloats your tummy and you will feel fat and not be motivated. The best part about this is seeing the results on your scale and with how your clothes fit. I started at a size 16 and now I am a size 4/6. I was always one that would try different diets but would just get frustrated when I didn’t see results. I never thought I would be this size again. If it works for me, it can work for anyone. I didn’t break my back exercising either, in fact, starting out I never exercised because I gain muscle so much faster than I lose fat so I decided not to exercise until after I lost the fat and it worked. I walk everyday for 45 minutes and that’s it. I have blabbed long enough. Good luck! It’s not easy but it’s definitely worth it in the end!
